The Toll Road Division is responsible for ensuring the smooth traffic flow on toll roads and providing safety for all users. In case of an emergency, call 0216 for assistance.

What to Do in Case of an Emergency:

1.   Pull over safely: if possible, pull your vehicle over to the side of the road.
2.  Use warning lights and signs: turn on your warning lights and display the emergency stop sign, ensuring you remain visible to oncoming traffic.
3.  Ensure safety location: if feasible, move behind a barrier fence for safety.
4.  Call for help: dial 0216 to contact the emergency service. Explain the reason for your call and provide your location.
5.  Wait for assistance: remain at the scene and
6.  wait for help to arrive.

The toll road division is here to assist you in the following situations:

1.   Traffic accidents: if you are involved in a traffic accident.
2.  Technical assistance: for vehicle malfunctions requiring technical help.
3.  Refueling: if you need assistance with refueling.
4.  Medical assistance: if you or someone else requires medical help.
5.  Towing: if your vehicle needs to be towed to a safe location.

The roadside assistance specialists will arrange a tow truck to pick up your vehicle.

If necessary, they will also contact additional emergency services and the ambulance service.

The emergency assistant undergoes regular specialized training and has extensive experience in road safety. Their vehicles are equipped with essential items such as a first aid kit, cable, fuel canister, fire extinguisher, and more.
